Festival Artisan Feature

Dear Readers,

I’m happy to introduce you to Harbinger, a friend of mine that had her first experience as a faire artisan this month. Her store, Harbinger’s Realm: Arts, Crafts, & More, specializes in hand crafted works of art; and this was her first renaissance faire booth.

Harbinger has been a fantasy enthusiast with a passion for dragons since she was young, “…but never thought I’d one day be making my own dragons and adopting them out…”. Even her mascot is a fantasy themed fur-suit she says! Because of this passion she developed a dream of opening her own small business creating dragon themed arts and crafts out of resin, 3D printing, and laser engraving catering towards the furry community but open to all who have a passion for dragons.

Currently, she is in the process of transitioning into a full time business owner with this faire being one of her initial steps. Hopefully, after two successful weekends she’ll be able to expand into other Renaissance festivals across the state and open an online store to allow her goods to reach a wider audience.

Her works include large pieces like the snakes on the left, and the light up roses below; to small pieces like the magnet on the right.
